Jack Stone started out writing for the Wodonga online times, a Kieren Bennet Media production and branched out to begin the now defunct Albury Wodonga Online Chronicle.
Technical issues prompted the move to this current incarnation of Albury Wodonga Online.
Jack Stone is a long-time local resident who believes strongly in social justice and environmental issues, he became interested in Citizen Journalism (CitJ) through a long-standing interest in current events, and despondancy at the level of bias in the reportage of some local media sources.
Jack has always enjoyed writing and sees AWO as an opportunity to combine several of his interests and give something back to the community.
Jack can be reached via email at alburywodonga@live.com.au and is always happy to hear from readers, enquiries from people wanting to contribute to AWO are most welcome.
Jack hopes you will find AWO useful, informative but most of all entertaining.
Enjoy.

I see Kieran has given it away over at WOT. It looks like he’s blaming you and me. I think he only has himself to blame.
I didn’t get a sense of blame at all, it’s a shame WOT has gone though. I think it had a lot of potential.
There’s obviously room enough for the publication but I think it’s difficult with Kieren being out of town to report on local news.
Obviously I was a little miffed at the way the Wangman story was handled but I don’t bear any animosity.
I think the WOT was a good blog but I’m not surprised it’s closed, it’s been a long time since it was updated after all.
Ray,
Not blame, personal failure. Jack’s right, if you can’t update them enough, why bother.
I’m glad to see others are doing a far better job now than I ever did
kind regards,
Kieran.
no-one beats up on Kieran LIKE Kieran do they?
Try being a little bit kind to yourself mate.
